This is an old mix that I happened to find a little while ago when I was cleaning the studio. The recording is of Thumptek and myself doing a Live PA in February 2004. Everything was done in one take, on hardware synths with no computers.
Some of the drum machines and synths that were used are the TR909, TR727, DX200, FR777, JX3P, and the Technosaurus.

Invisible Heart is a track that I’ve been working on for some time now, and have just finished up. Its something you might not expect as it is a drum and bass track. Invisible Heart has some really big synth sounds as well as some guitar. One of the guitar parts I actually played myself, but all the lead guitar was programmed. The entire song was written/programmed and recorded with Pro Tools with Fruity Loops being Rewired to the host.
Over a year after the show, I was finally able to get a copy of the recording. The file size is very big, but its the entire night from begining to end.

Banging Techno at its finest! I start things off a bit chill with “Gamma” but the pace quickly increases after that. Wehbba’s ‘Cava’ is a nice noisey groover on 82 Recordings. From the release notes this is a brand new label from Wehbba himself; looking to release the newest cutting edge sound in new techno. [...]

Speaking of newer sounding techno is Sami Wentz’s ‘Enerverende’ remixed by Jon Virtue. This track has got that smooth deep bass that will really hit ya on a loud system. The main synth line is well *drool*.
Perc makes two appearance on the promo mix this month. With ‘Alperton Badass’ on Sleaze Records and ‘Submit’ on CLR. One other mention goes to Bobby Dowell for his track ‘Motive’ on Perc Trax, that whole release is definately worth checking out.

Forgotten Websites is a short ambient mix that i made a couple years ago. All tracks are original creations made on the Absynth Vsti and mixed an arrange in Protools.
The idea behind the name ‘Forgotten Websites’ comes from the chance of stumbling onto a website thats interesting but has since been updated in years. Its like coming across the ruins of a city in the jungle, it was once busy with traffic but now it has become abandoned. The people who were once there are long gone but their thoughts and writing remain.
While creating these soundscapes, I kept in mind what it would feel like to be such an environment. Experiencing being the last one to step foot into this once bussling place and now feeling desolation, downfall and eventually destruction.
This mix has a different feel than my other mixes. I start off with some more popular tunes that kinda have a electro house feel to them. About half way through the mix things start to get a bit darker and the mix finishes up that way.
